O Canada!

Jessie Douglas tames the Epcor Centre

Jessie Douglas tames the Epcor Centre

The last five weeks have been incredible. We started them in Canada and now we end this leg of touring in Canada. From Brampton and St. Catharines in Ontario to Schenectady NY to our run on Broadway at the New Victory to Medicine Hat and Calgary, Alberta, to Vernon, British Coloumbia, we have tamed the North, I think! The cold weather followed us everywhere we went (we’re pretty wimpy about that because we’re from Texas), but that didn’t stop us–it only strengthened us!

Definitely want to give a particular shout-out to the Epcor Centre in Calgary. They went above and beyond in every respect on the show. Not only was the turnout great and did the audience have a fantastic time, but backstage the crew was excellent, the hospitality from Jodi and Jennifer was excellent, the media outreach by Kerri was excellent, the snow was excellent. Yes, Epcor was excellent. Here’s hoping we’re back sometime with Book Two!

Next up: the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach FL, the Imaginate Festival in Edinburgh Scotland, and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Complete tour schedule HERE.

Little detail: we ate dinner one night in Calgary at a spinning restaurant atop a tower much like the Space Needle in Seattle. Then we fell from the top…
