The Intergalactic Nemesis Goes Digital: New Podcasts, Web Series, Digital Comics Lead Charge to World Domination
I could not be more excited about this blog post. Up till now, the only way to experience The Intergalactic Nemesis has been at our live shows. So often I hear from folks that by the time they heard about us, we were already onto our next stop. I have been chomping at the bit to open up the project to everyone everywhere.
Well, that time has finally arrived!
1. Digital Comic Books – We’ve partnered with comiXology to release the comic-book versions of the entire series on their amazing mobile platform. The first issue is available TODAY and you can access it HERE . If you don’t know, comiXology is the leading platform for digital comic books. Their interface is awesome and our comic books are only 99 cents through them. So what are you waiting for? Download the first issue
2. Web Series – Our PBS Digital web series launches Monday and the Behind the Scenes and Teaser videos are now available online. And for the first time ever, our videos are available on our own YouTube channel, branded to The Intergalactic Nemesis courtesy of our friends at KLRU, Austin’s PBS. I swear, you are not going to believe your eyes when you see the first episode. Subscribe now for notification of each new weekly episode. And tell your friends! YouTube.com/intergalacticnemesis
3. Audio Podcast / Brand-New Storyline – We’re launching a brand-new series called SALT, featuring Jean-Pierre Desperois, one of our favorite characters from Target Earth. SALT is meant to stand alone, meaning that you don’t need to know The Intergalactic Nemesis at all to get into the story. It picks up in 1931, two years before Molly and Timmy enter the picture. It’s a bit darker than The Intergalactic Nemesis, kind of crime noir meets pulp sci-fi. I voice Jean-Pierre, who narrates the story. Buzz Moran is the producer and provides background sound. Adrian Quesada (Grupo Fantasma, Spanish Gold) has created the music. It launches Monday on the OneOfUs.net podcast network. Click HERE to subscribe.
Of course, the Live-Action Graphic Novels continue to tour and we’ve just posted our 2014-15 season HERE . We play Austin this week with the first two installments in the Intergalactic trilogy and you can get tickets to Target Earth HERE and Robot Planet Rising HERE. And, of course, Twin Infinity premieres September 5 and 6 at the Long Center. Single tickets go on sale next week and can be found HERE.
Thanks a ton for your support of the project thus far. I think we’re about to take it to a whole new level and I’m psyched for you to join us!
See you at the shows!
